During our meetings, two members are assigned to lead the discussion. They are free to pick whatever topic they like, as long as it pertains to translational medicine. These two leaders prepare a set of materials that is sent to the other members prior to the meeting. The leaders give an overview of their topic, as well as review relevant case studies. The discussion period is free-flowing and members are encouraged to add their thoughts at any point in the presentation.

Each meeting includes an expert on the topic. Experts include other students that are studying that particular field, faculty, staff, or industry experts. They help guide the discussion with their valuable insight and opinions.
